Billy has a very busy month ahead of him this June. In two days he will be helping to kick off the 2013 Pennsylvania Spring Arts Conference open to Pennsylvania presenter organizations. The following week he continues on to Asheville, North Carolina where he is proud to be one of the many talented artists hosting workshops for percussion musicians of any caliber at the second annual Asheville Percussion Festival. The festival will be held at the Odyssey Community School in the Creative Technology and Art Center and registration is open up until the 15th. You can sign up for the whole weekend, a single day or even just a specific workshop, so don’t miss your opportunity to be taught by Billy himself! Full details for registration can be found here: http://www.ashevillepercussionfestival.com/#!registration/c1mxq
Billy will be teaching two separate workshops. On Saturday the 15th he will be hosting a family percussion workshop, and on Sunday the 16th he will be workshopping with the other faculty members showing techniques for extended percussion and RePercussion. Along with his workshops he will be performing each night at 8PM alongside artists such as Layne Redmond, River Guerguerian and Rohan Krishnamurthy.
