NEW SHOWS AND WORKSHOPS AND A NEW BAND FORMING

There are still some spaces for you to come join me at the Swannanoa Gatherings Sing and Swing week.  Set on the beautiful campus of Warren Wilson College, amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains, it is a chance to study and explore voice, percussion, dance, song-leading, Vaudeville, and tons of other stuff, as well as to just relax.  Its July 3rd  9th; check it out at swangathering.org.

Right now, Im headed for the Clearwater Festival Great Hudson River Revival in New York, which is dedicated to making and keeping the river habitable by raising money and consciousness.  The good people who stage this festival apparently had a major innovation planned in concert scheduling -- they had me slated to play on two different stages at the same time.  I like creative challenges, but Im still glad theyve straightened things out.  Heres the corrected schedule of my appearances at Clearwater  hope to see you there:
Saturday, June 18th:
2:55 pm  3:35 pm  Hudson River Stage
5:30 pm  6:00 pm  Family Stage
6:35 pm  7:30 pm  Hudson River Stage
Sunday, June 19th:
5:05 pm  5:35 pm  Family Stage

Last but not least, the BILLY JONAS BAND is now forming.  Its name has yet to be determined.  Were looking for good harmony singers and percussionists as well as other inspirational sonic innovators.  We plan to take over the world.  Debut: the L.E.A.F. Festival (L.E.A.F. = Lake Eden Arts Festival; theleaf.com) in Black Mountain, NC, October 2005.
