Billy is back from Sabbatical!

NEW MUSICIANS
The Sabbatical is over, and Billy is back on tour. Check out the side bar for upcoming shows, including two festivals in Canada, one in New Jersey, and another one in Texas  all in May!
Hell be joined by various combinations of additional musicians, including Don Porterfield and Louis Cato (taking turns with bass, percussion, and harmony), Ashley Farmer and Stephanie Corby (harmonies), and spontaneous special guests - look for Jagoda on percussion and Moira Smiley on vocals, both at the Rocky Mountain Folks Fest www.bluegrass.com/folks/index.html.

NEW SONGS
As some of you may know, Billy spent some of his time off writing new songs and jamming with friends. The new songs still need to be road-tested, so be on the look-out and listen-out at upcoming shows. Such song titles include: Bored, Song Salad Song, Bright Light, Open Sesame, Eyes Wide Open, Bring It On, You are Not Alone, One Tutu Too Many, and In My Heart. Hes added some new cover tunes too, including a version of Prairie Home Companions classic Knock Knock song.

GET REAL GETS DIFFERENT
We just ordered a new batch of Get Real CDs, which will be available starting mid-month. Billy decided to remove the song Variations on a Theme due to controversy resulting from violations of poetic license.  This means if you the own a copy of the cd already, its now a collectors item!

Billy is hoping to re-record Variations at a later date and would like your input. Hes currently rewriting with help from various open-minded Palestinians and Israelis. There is a new discussion board specifically for your feedback   visit billyjonas.com/index.php?page=comments&display=276. Wed love to hear your thoughts on how to improve the song!

SPECIAL PROJECT / VOLUNTEER UPDATE
Our previous call for volunteers had such wonderful results, we thought wed try another one for a specialized endeavor. Billy has had multiple requests for song chord charts and needs help with them. Does anyone have access to a musical notation program (such as Sibelius, G7 or Finale)? Does anybody have the patience and time (and willingness to volunteer) to transcribe a song or two or three (or CD) into a chord chart? Please email me if you are interested and able!

Until next time, keep bangin and sangin!

See ya at the shows,
