Upcoming Billy Jonas Shows in NC, SC, MA, NY, ME, RI, IN, PA

Its Spring in Asheville. WOW it feels good! How bout where you are? Ive got shows up and down the East Coast in March and April (see sidebar). Heres news about projects, national shows, and some special local events in NC:
AMERICAS FUNNIEST HOME BILLY JONAS WANNABE VIDEOS
Were hearing from lots of folks who have kids that have put together their own Billy Jonas style performance, either of Billys songs, or of original songs, with guitars, drums and/or homemade instruments. This is exciting! We want to include clips in the next Billy Jonas DVD. If youve got something for us to see, send videos to:

SPECIAL BENEFIT FAMILY SHOW IN ASHEVILLE:
SETHS PLAYGROUND CD RELEASE, SUNDAY MARCH 4TH, 2 pm
Not only is it a good cause (proceeds go to build a new playground at Isaac Dickson Elementary School, in honor of the memory of teacher Seth Olsen), and not only will Ashevilles finest singer/songwriters be performing (Billy Jonas, Bill Melanson, Timmy Abell, Ben Scales, Chris Rosser, Mad Tea Party, The Buckerettes, Jim Taylor, Penny White, Miriam Allen and the eMBe Marimba Band), BUT in addition, Billy and Bill will do some songs as The Billys, AND Billy will get to perform You Are Not Alone accompanied by the eMBe Marimba Band!

Im gearing up for my 8th annual run of family shows in the Wachovia Playhouse at ImaginOn/Childrens Theatre of Charlotte, March 8-11. Its a spectacular facility (ImaginOn houses 2 theaters, interactive exhibits, a new library, and a shop); come make a day of it! The website says were sold out, BUT there are actually a few tickets left for some shows, and usually some tickets open up the day of the show . Its best to call the box office direct: (704) 973-2828.
GREAT LIVE MUSIC ALERT: THE BILLS FROM CANADA IN NC
Prepare for a global acoustic roots explosion from one of my favorite bands, The Bills from British Columbia. They are 5 great multi-instrumentalists and performers who just won Entertainer of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards. Theyre in NC for a week of shows. In addition to their Asheville Grey Eagle show on Thurs March 8th, appearances include:
