Join Earth-based Jewish community Or Harim for a High Holiday "Kol Nidre/Yom Kippur Retreat." Dive deep into your heart's prayer, and enter as a community into the most meaningful day of the Jewish year together -- the ancient ritual to stand "panim el panim" (face-to-face) with the Divine. Come as you are and be ready to connect with your truest self!
Services are interpretative, songful, and ritual-based; with traditional liturgy and melodies included. The theme this year is Panim El Panim: Deepening Intimacy with Self & Source.

Yom Kippur Services will be held outside, under a pavilion, and in open air. We will begin with a community potluck, followed by Kol Nidre evening services on Sunday September 20. Morning services on Sept. 21, which include Torah reading and Mussaf, will continue until midafternoon, followed by a break. We will meet again for an interpretive Yizkor (remembrance of loved ones) in late afternoon. A spirited Neilah service will conclude the retreat. A break-the-fast potluck will occur after sundown on Monday September 21. All are welcome.
Participants are welcome to spend the night on the land, and may set up tents, or can sleep under the pavilion. Tents/Bedding not provided.

The Yom Kippur retreat is a 25 hour experience and includes four services. The sliding sale is $60-$500 sliding scale.
